Xueqin started working as a behavior therapist with kids with autism in 2005 when she volunteered at an autism clinic in China. She has worked as a special education teacher, RBT, direct support professional at residential setting, as well as a research professor conducting autism research in two major universities. She has published over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles on autism and other developmental disabilities.
Xueqin is passionate about bridging the research-practice gap by empowering parents with knowledge from research. As a former special education teacher, her vision is to empower parents to start intervention early and prepare children to be successful at school.
